The park was selected as one of Japan’s Top 100 Sakura Spots. About 2,300 cherry trees planted in the 12ha garden, 2,100 are the double-flowered cherry tree. The season of cherry blossoms is from late April to mid-May every year. The stairs to the small hill have the best spot for cherry blossom viewing. There are bathing facilities nearby, can use it as a changing room or waiting room.

One of Japan’s three largest parks. Known as the plum park, within 13 hectares of 3000 plum trees planted in the park. Throughout the four seasons can enjoy the view surrounded by plums, cherry blossoms, azaleas, and lespedeza. There are also bamboo forests inside the park. BBC “Time Watch” filmed inside the park as well.

The gorgeous 120m high and 72m wide waterfall receives water from three rivers. Since it falls in four steps, it is also called the Fourth Waterfall. Fresh green during spring, the fall colors, and the appearance of the ice is impressive within winter. Pass through the tunnel, the view from the viewing platform in front of the waterfall is incredible. It used as a location for Japanese movies and dramas shooting.

The sunflower field in Naka General Park, which about 260,000 sunflowers blooms from late August to early September. The park also uses as an event venue with a performing stage and also held fireworks festivals etc. It used as a location for shooting Japanese drama as well.
